The effort to reopen the mine train formerly in Alpine took several major steps forward this month. Grading for the rails has allowed us to reset the DAP Depot at the Campo Railroad Park and Museum. This major milestone was funded by donations from Alpine families and general funds from the Museum. Fund raising continues as we need to raise about $40,000 more to complete the project.
